The fundraiser will take place in early May this year with an exact date to be confirmed. Anyone can donate to the Just Giving page.

All donations will go towards a special market event to be held on May, 30 between 9am and 3pm which will feature a variety of free rides for children to enjoy.

Daniel said: "It's been tough financially for a lot of people recently especially over Christmas.

"It will be lovely to give the little ones a day when they will be able to go on all rides without parents worrying about the cost."

Holywell Town Council has already donated £500 towards the event.

Daniel admits to being homeless during for two-years during his 20s which he describes as being a tough experience.

His experience has inspired this year's challenge which Daniel is proudly involving his children in.

"I want my kids to kind of experience how some people live to continue raising awareness", he said.

The challenge comes two-years after Daniel's previous fundraiser in which he raised £300 for the Flintshire Food Bank.

Due to the cost-of-living crisis, Daniel is proud to be using this year's funds raised to give something back to the community.
