A MAN is to be sentenced after admitting an offence of robbery at a high street shop in Flintshire.
Lee Griffiths, of Llys y Brenin in Holywell, appeared at Mold Crown Court on Friday via video link from HMP Berwyn.
The 37-year-old admitted that on December 8, he robbed Gowreensan Perananantham of cigarettes and alcohol - the offence having taken place at a shop on Holywell High Street.
He denied having a knife with him on that occasion and Emmalyne Downing, prosecuting, told the court the pleas were acceptable - meaning the Crown Prosecution Service will not seek a trial in that respect.

Dafydd Roberts, defending, conceded that "only a custodial sentence can be passed for robbery" and that his client is "keen to know his fate as soon as possible."
Judge Rhys Rowlands is to sentence the defendant on Thursday (January 18.)
Concluding the hearing, he told Griffiths: "It's a serious matter; you know that.
"But I will give you full credit, with the maximum reduction in your sentence of one third, [for your guilty plea.]"
