A BUSINESS centre in Wrexham has been placed up for sale.

Legat Owen has announced it has been instructed to market the former Redwither Business Centre site at Wrexham Industrial Estate on behalf of Wrexham Council.

The 1.56 hectares (3.87 acres) development site includes a detached 2-story office building of 855.12 sq m (9,200 sq ft) with planning permission granted to demolish.

Director Mark Diaper in the Business Space Team said: “The site offers a rare opportunity for occupiers, investors and developers to acquire land on Wrexham Industrial Estate and we foresee strong interest during the marketing campaign up to the Tender date.”

Nicholas Adamson, head of services for assets at Wrexham Council, said: “This strategic disposal will hopefully bring new development and jobs to an already thriving industrial estate."

The site enjoys a prominent position within the Redwither Business Park at the heart of Wrexham Industrial Estate, beside the iconic landmark Redwither Tower.

Wrexham Industrial Estate is home to over 340 businesses across automotive, aerospace, food, pharmaceuticals and engineering sectors, and creates employment for over 10,000 people.

The guide price for the property is £700,000.

Written offers are invited by informal tender by midday on Monday, February 19.
