A SEARCH and rescue operation was launched at Talacre beach during the early hours of this morning (Thursday, January 11).
Rhyl Coastguard Rescue Team said it was called after a young man had got lost while walking in the dunes around the beach.
A spokesperson said: "The team employed specialist search techniques and the man was found safe and well, although cold and disoriented.
"He was checked over and then given a lift back to his car."
