NORTH Wales Police have confirmed a stretch of the A55 is closed due to a reported vehicle fire.
In a statement, police have confirmed the A55 is currently closed between Junction 30 and Junction 31 in the Caerwys area.
A recent update has now confirmed the Westbound carriageway has now reopened while Eastbound remains close. There is congestion in the area.

Drivers are being advised to avoid the area, and use alternative routes for the time being.
Traffic Wales North & Mid confirms the incident has occurred between J31 Preststyn / Caerwys and J32 Holywell in Flintshire.
