WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds has wished two opposition players well after a 'scary few minutes' in the club's latest win.

The Reds marched on in their quest for promotion to EFL League One with a resounding 4-1 win over Barrow on new years' day.

A Steven Fletcher hat-trick and a Paul Mullin wondergoal spared the blushes after a difficult start to the game which saw the visitors go 1-0 up just one minute in.

During the match at the STok Cae Ras, both David Worrall and Luca Stephenson suffered head injuries for Barrow.

The pair were both stretchered off the field, with Ryan describing the scenes as 'scary'.
