THE robin is as synonymous with the festive season as mince pies and Santa.
Many people take comfort in spotting them, with the saying "when robins appear, loved ones are near" resonating with lots of people.
With that in mind, the robin was chosen as the latest theme challenge for members of the Leader Camera Club.

The group is made up of amateur and professional photographers.
Members share images daily on a range of subjects, and take part in regular topic challenges.
