A WREXHAM-based custom design shoe business has gifted AFC's co-owner with personalised trainers following today's match (December 17).
Owned by John White, 27, 'Zebra Customs' is a Wrexham-based business which hand paints designs onto trainers according to the customer's request.
Following today's Wrexham match v Colchester United FC John got to personally meet Ryan Reynolds who had flown in for the game.
On Twitter, John shared a picture of the custom trainers he designed for the man himself which featured a Deadpool and AFC theme.
He said: “It was great to finally get them to him (Ryan). I wanted to hand them over to him personally as I wasn’t able to do that with Rob’s and that bothered me a little bit.
"I've been working on them for a while while juggling other commissions. It's also the first time I've dyed a pair of shoes."
John has previously made custom designs for Wrexham AFC players such as Paul Mullin, Elliot Lee and Ollie Palmer, as well as second co-chairman Rob McElhenney.

He started the business back in 2020 at the beginning of the pandemic which he describes as being a tough period.
Yet, the business is now taking off. John said he has even sent a few pairs out to the States this year which he describes as being "quite crazy."
Requests have been particularly high in demand more recently due to the exposure the club is getting.
We're sure Ryan will be out wearing his pair soon.
