THE TRAILER for the latest movie starring Wrexham AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds has been launched this week.

The Deadpool star took over at the north Wales football club back in 2021 alongside fellow actor and friend Rob McElhenney.

Since then, the club has been on an incredible journey, earning promotion back to the English Football League as National League champions at the end of last season.

With all that's going on in Wrexham, it can be easy to forget that Ryan's main job is in the acting department - but the trailer for the latest film he is starring in served as a reminder for us this week!

A sneak peek at 'IF', directed by The Office star John Krasinski, dropped via social media this week.

It stars the likes of Cailey Fleming and Fiona Shaw and the voices of Steve Carell, Matt Damon, Emily Blunt, Phoebe Waller-Bridge and so much more.

'IF' focuses on a young girl who goes through a difficult experience and begins to see everyone's imaginary friends who have been left behind as their real-life friends have grown up.

'IF' is expected to hit cinema screens in May 2024.

In the film, Ryan plays the matchmaker for imaginary friends in the movie.

The trailer shows him interacting with Blue (voiced by Carrel) who reveals he's an IF, better known within this world as an Imaginary Friend.
