WREXHAM Council has issued an update after a follow-up visit was completed at a school with reports of rats.
Last month, the Leader reported there had been claims there were rats at Ysgol Rhiwabon in Wrexham.
A video surfaced of what appeared to be a rat/mouse near the floorboards in one of the corridors at the school.
One resident said there was a "rat infestation" at the school that had been "ongoing for years".
Another resident labelled the potential issue "revolting" and said it needed to be addressed straight away.

Following the initial reports, the local authority confirmed a pest control visit had taken place and no issues were found, but a follow-up would be completed to make sure.
Following the second visit by pest control to the site, the council confirmed there were no further issues detected.
A Wrexham Council spokesperson said: "There were no mouse activity or issues detected on the follow up visit."
