A WREXHAM village is going above and beyond this Christmas writing back to children who have written to Santa.
For one week only, the Spar in Rhos is featuring a very special post box service from the North Pole to encourage children to write a letter to Father Christmas.
The idea was arranged by Rhos Community Councillor and owner of P & G Motors Rhos, Paul Pemberton, to spread some festive cheer and joy in the community.
As a goodwill gesture, Paul will be replying to each letter that has included an address as 'Santa or one of his elves.'
He said: "It was first done during Covid to try and cheer the children up and we have carried on with it ever since.
"The children love it, they all get a personalised letter back before Christmas which does add a bit of magic for them.

"It costs nothing and they get much joy out of it.
"I would also like to say a big thank you to John and the staff at the Spar supermarket in Rhos for their valued and continued support."
The postbox is located inside the shop on Market Street in Rhos and will be there from December 5 until Wednesday, December 13. Stamps are not required.
