NORTH Wales Police have confirmed an increase in calls relating to rogue traders in the Flintshire area.

Rogue traders will normally turn up at an address uninvited and give an "on the spot" quote for work which they will claim is urgent.

In other cases rogue traders will turn up at an address and immediately begin to carry out work and then demand payment.

North Wales Police are advising residents in the area to be cautious if someone attends your property offering work.
