A ROAD Traffic Collision on the A483 in Wrexham has sparked heavy traffic.
Traffic Wales confirmed there had been a collision on the southbound carriageway near J1 Ruabon.
They say there is heavy congestion in the area and that North Wales Police are en route to the scene.

There is no sign that the road has been closed, but traffic reports suggest there is very heavy traffic as a result.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “We received a report of a road traffic collision on the A483 between Ruabon and Halton at 4.20pm today.
“The incident is ongoing and motorists are advised to avoid the area for the time being.”
Emergency services have been approached for a comment.
