CHRISTMAS will officially arrive in yet another part of Flintshire this weekend.
Towns and villages across both Flintshire and Wrexham have been busy switching their Christmas lights on over the last week or so.
And the big day over in Queensferry will take place for only the second time annually this weekend.
After the success of last year's 'Tree Lighting' event, this year's will take place between 2.30pm and 4.30pm at the war memorial institute.

In a statement ahead of the event, Queensferry Community Council said: "It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas lights Switch on tomorrow between 2.30-4.30.
"Santa and his Elves will be helping us switch on the lights with a cup of hot chocolate and some hotdogs wrap up warm."
