A MUCH-loved Wrexham business is taking its store to the next level by introducing its latest collaboration with a popular player.

Wrexham Trainer Revival is inviting Wrexham AFC star Jacob Mendy to the store today (Thursday, November 30) to introduce his already established clothing brand.

Encore Clothing, a clothing line by Wrexham defender Jacob Mendy, was established in 2022 and features creative, edgy and modern designs.

The store will sell items from the Encore range including caps and t-shirts which will be sold from 4pm onwards today.

The Leader:

Wrexham Trainer Revival also features the 'Casual Kids Lab' upstairs, owned by Shaun Carr who said: "Today starts our late night Christmas opening and we’ve got a very special guest coming down to launch his new clothing brand ‘Encore.'

"Jacob Mendy will be in store and upstairs at Casual Kids Lab from 4pm until 6pm kicking off his new range."

"Mendy has been amazing with us popping in the shop messaging asking how we are getting on, I said we would love his brand in store and Mendy has made that happen, he’s an amazing down to earth person, and looking forward to it."

This follows the tragic burglary that happened at the store last month resulting in over £7,000 worth of stock being taken.

Wrexham AFC co-owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds kindly donated £3,500 while residents also raised over an incredible total of £4,700 to help the owners get back on their feet.

Mendy and fellow Wrexham AFC player Elliot Lee supported the reopening of the store, encouraging residents across Wrexham to support local businesses.
