NORTH WALES Police are encouraging Flintshire residents to remain cautious following a burglary in the Holywell area.

On Monday, November 10 a burglary was reported to North Wales Police on Hillside Court, Holywell.

As a result, Flintshire residents are being encouraged to take precautions to remain safe, especially during the Christmas season.

A North Wales Police spokesperson said: “On the evening of November 21st, we received a report of a burglary at a residential address on Hillside Court in Holywell, where items are reported to have been stolen.  

“Enquiries and ongoing and anyone with any information that may assist is asked to contact us via our website, or by calling 101, quoting reference number 23001170332.”

They are advising local Holywell residents to consider the following home security advice;

- Lock all doors and windows at night and when leaving the property unoccupied.

- Consider investing in good quality CCTV for the property which covers entry and exit points.
