Pontcysyllte Aqueduct
A DEAD body was found at Pontcysyllte Aqueduct yesterday (November 9), police have confirmed.
North Wales Police said it sadly received a report of a body being found at the aqueduct shortly after 3.30pm on Thursday.
A spokesperson said: "The death is not being treated as suspicious and the family and the coroner's office have been informed."
Witnesses took to social media to state that Bont bridge, near the aqueduct, was blocked for a couple of hours.
