DETAILS for this year's Remembrance service in a Wrexham village have been announced.

Every November, villages, towns and cities come together to remember the British men and women who lost their lives while serving their country.

Rhosllanerchrugog Community Council has now announced how and when services will be held in the village.

Events will be held on Sunday, November 12, to mark the occasion at The Stiwt, as well as on Broad Street, other parts of Rhos itself and the cenotaph.

The Rhos and District Royal British Legion Remembrance Day Parade will set off at 9.30am from Ysgol y Grango car park before heading down High Street, turning onto Broad Street and arriving at The Stiwt.

At approximately 9.50am, the Remembrance Service will commence.

At 10.30am, the parade will head from The Stiwt, down High Street and onto Market Street.

It will then proceed over the roundabout onto Hill Street, and then onto the cenotaph for another Remembrance Service at 10.50 am.

Following the service at the Cenotaph, the community council says that 'everyone is welcome' at the Royal British Legion, Johnstown, for the return of the Standards and refreshments.
