A BROKEN down HGV sparked heavy congestion on the A483 in Wrexham this morning (October 23).
Traffic reports stated that the southbound carriageway was partially blocked between J1 (Ruabon, Wrexham) to A5 (Halton Roundabout, Chirk) from around 7am.
Motorists took to social media to statec that traffic is "heavy" in the area and that police were in attendance. Traffic was taking turns to pass the vehicle. Motorists say traffic was at a "standstill" as a result.
As of 10.30am, the HGV has been recovered and traffic has returned to normal.
