Wrexham and Flintshire have had severe floods as a result of Storm Babet.

The storm hit North Wales late on Thursday night and continued until 6am this morning.

Torrential rain poured down on Wrexham and Flintshire yesterday (October 20), with a number of areas flooding.

Dozens of roads were closed and a number of services were affected by the conditions.

Despite the storm ending this morning, the aftermath has continued today with a number of roads remaining closed.

We've had several images of the floods sent in by members of the public, which you can see in our gallery above.
