A PERSON was taken to hospital following a 'medical emergency' in Flintshire yesterday (October 18), the Welsh Ambulance Service (WAS) has confirmed.
An image shared on social media showed that the air ambulance helicopter had landed in Leeswood, near Mold.
Witnesses stated that both police and paramedics were in attendance on Ffordd Siarl in the village.
WAS has now confirmed that their crews were at the scene to deal with a 'medical emergency'.
A spokesperson said they were called to the scene at 3.31pm and a person was then taken by road to hospital.

The Welsh Ambulance Service spokesperson said: “We were called at 3.31pm yesterday to a medical emergency at a property in Leeswood, Mold.
"We sent an emergency ambulance to the scene, where the crew were supported by a Cymru High Acuity Response Unit, Advanced Paramedic Practitioner, Operations Manager and the Emergency Medical Retrieval and Transfer Service on an air ambulance.
“One patient was taken by road to hospital.”
A North Wales Police spokesperson said at the time: "Police were in attendance due to a concern for safety incident."
