A HISTORIC former church in Wrexham is set to be auctioned off later this month.
St Ffraid's Church, located in the Glyn Ceiriog area, dates back to the 1800s but closed back in 2018.
Now, it has been brought to auction by Morris Marshall and Poole with a guide price of just £65,000.
The Grade II Listed former place of worship is situated in an area that overlooks Glyn Ceiriog.
It was constructed of local dressed stone walls under a slate clad roof and affording a bell tower and internal balcony.

Internally, there is a nave with an open timber framed roof and the traditional leaded coloured decorative windows still remain.
Just off the nave is a vestry and access to the church's bell tower.
The listing states that the property affords scope for a variety of alternative uses - subject to both planning and listed building consent.
The sale comprises the significant building with a right of way over the retained pathway (see site plan).

All the adjacent graveyard area is to be retained and public access maintained at all times.
The former church will go up for auction on Thursday, October 26.
