A ROAD near Wrexham city centre is current closed due to an "incident".
North Wales Police said at 2.50pm that Bradley Road is closed between Watery Road Roundabout and Regent Street.
Images shared on social media show a vehicle that has collided with a bridge wall on the side of the road.
Some trains in and out of the nearby Wrexham Central station were cancelled due to the incident - with the bridge involved going over the railway line.
A North Wales Police spokesperson said: "Shortly after 2.20pm today (Thursday, September 28) we received reports of a single-vehicle collision, in which a car had collided with a railway bridge on Bradley Road, Wrexham.
"Officers and an ambulance crew attended before a temporary road closure was enforced.
"No injuries were reported from the scene.
"The road remains closed whilst structural damage to the bridge is assessed by Network Rail engineers."
As of 9pm, traffic reports on INRX say that the road remains closed.
The latest update said: "A5152 Bradley Road both ways closed due to bridge struck by vehicle from Watery Road to A541 Regent Street. The train line is blocked. On-going since around 15:00."
