Go Green at the Library
Libraries Week, October 2-8
As part of the Green Libraries Network, Aura Libraries are looking forward to hosting lots of green activities during Libraries Week, from October 2-8. We will be hosting community support drop-in sessions, where there will be information available to help you with the cost of living.
Did you know an easy way to 'go green' is to make use of all the fabulous books and resources we have available in Aura Libraries, as highlighted in this title...
Thanks for Sharing - Eleanor Tucker: Writer Eleanor takes us along as her family embark on a year in the sharing economy, showing along the way how through sharing, lending, renting and borrowing we can all live more sustainably.
So why buy your favourite book, newspaper or magazine when you can borrow it from your library?
Aura Library members can download e-books and audiobooks free of charge from Borrowbox and Libby and ULibrary to a PC, laptop or Mac. Alternatively, you can download the Borrowbox, Libby and ULibrary apps directly to a smartphone or tablet.
There is also free access to magazines and newspapers through PressReader and Libby app.
To access most online library resources you will need to enter your library membership number and pin. If you do not have this then you can join up as a member online via the Aura website for instant access. All links and further details about our digital library resources can be found here: www.aura.wales/libraries
