HAWARDEN Institute is holding a "Then and Now" history event this weekend.
The Institute, at 31 Glynne Way, is hosting the two-day event between 12pm and 4pm.
It will be an exhibition of times past in the Hawarden and district area.
There will be videos of event that have taken place in the area over time, including the Olympic Torch relay passing through the village in 2012.
And various documents from around the area will be on display, as well as an exhibition of 19th century British Prime Minister and Hawarden resident, William Gladstone.
As well as the historical exhibition, there will be a display from the Shirley School of Dance from 2.30pm to 3pm on both Saturday and Sunday. There will also be exhibits from Hawarden Table Tennis Club, Hawarden Park Cricket Club and more.
Refereshments will also be available at the event at the Institute - which is home to Hawarden Photographic Society, the Shirley School of Dance and the table tennis club.
