WREXHAM'S MP has apologised after constituents were delivered a leaflet that included news about Gloucestershire's health service getting new technology.

Some Wrexham residents will have recently had copies of the ‘summer edition’ of the Wrexham News - delivered on behalf of Wrexham MP Sarah Atherton.

It is a four-page leaflet and is printed by the Welsh Conservatives. ‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌

While the frontpage previews a health campaign by Mrs Atherton in Wrexham, the inside pages detailed information about Gloucestershire Hospitals NHS Trust, and other issues involving the south west of England.

There were 4,000 new nurses for the south west, and "local people" in Gloucestershire benefitting from skills training. There is also an article about new police officers for Gloucestershire.

Following the misprint, Mrs Atherton apologised via her Facebook page.

She said in the post: Why not take a look at my latest newspaper below? I know some residents have received a version that was printed in error – with info about other places.

"The leaflet I wrote is an update for residents on our ongoing healthcare campaign and our 6-point plan for Wrexham. Plus some UK Government success stories in Wales. Please accept my apologies if you received the wrong version."
