It's never too late to join this year's Summer Reading Challenge at your local Aura library.

Join Aura Libraries for a summer of reading, activities and fun! To take part in this year's Summer Reading Challenge organised by The Reading Agency, children will need to read six books, for every two books read each child will collect goodies along the way, and finally receive an extra special medal and certificate at the end of the summer holidays in celebration of completing the challenge.

Children can join the challenge at the library or online via the Summer Reading Challenge website where they can rate and review books, download activities, and access video content, games and quizzes.

The purpose of this free reading for pleasure programme is to encourage children to keep reading during the summer holidays and visit their local library to help maintain their reading skills and confidence.
