THE ORGANISERS of the Rock the Park Music Festival have thanked all who attended and helped out for making it an 'incredible weekend'.

Taking place between August 3 and 7 at Borras Hall in Wrexham, the event returned this year after being postponed in 2021 and 2022.

With around 30,000 people attending over the weekend Rock the Park has grown to be one of the largest festivals in Wales.

It has been so popular for the last two festivals, that it has completely sold out prior to the event taking place.

And now, following the success of the 2023 edition held this month, organisers are already planning ahead for 2024.

This year's festival attracted over 10,000 people despite the poor weather in Wrexham over the weekend.

A statement from the team read: "THANK YOU #WREXHAM‼️ What an incredible weekend that was. We would firstly like to begin by announcing Rock the Park Music Festival IS returning from 1st to 5th August 2024 and early bird tickets are ON SALE NOW (on festival website).

"Prices will increase at the end of the month so book early to save money before ticket price rises come in because...We also have some VERY exciting news... Rock The Park 2024 will take a completely new direction... the Friday will remain original dance acts but the Saturday and Sunday is changing.

"We will be announcing original major headlines for each night on each stage, these will be supported throughout the day by the very best tributes and local bands but we are excited to be talking to some pretty large acts to perform our headline slots instead of our usual full tribute band lineup.

"We are really thrilled to be able to bring even more huge headliners to WREXHAM‼️ Lineup announcements will begin soon.

"We would also like to take this opportunity to thank all those who supported this year's event. From those who carried over tickets, to those who support us behind the scenes, all of our incredible acts and to all of our staff, suppliers, production and security teams who have worked tirelessly to bring you an amazing event."

Rock the Park has something for everyone. It brings together original dance artists and the worlds best tribute acts, fly them them in from all over the globe and throw them all together into a jam packed weekend featuring a variety of music & genres not seen at any other UK festival.

This year's event saw guests enjoy the likes of Scooter, Darren Styles and Andy Whitby.

It also featured tributes to Robbie Williams, The Beatles, Oasis, Michael Jackson and so much more.

Earlybird tickets for next year's event sold out within two hours. Organisers say that the event could sell out this month 'at this rate'.
