A FLINTSHIRE girl who is fundrasing to help the homeless is holding her final event this weekend.
The Leader previously reported that eight-year-old Emma Roberts, from Carmel, has taken it upon herself to raise money for the SHARE charity in Chester.
She recently held a quiz night at the Stamford Gate pub in Holywell and walked 10 miles round Llyn Brenig reservoir.
She has set up a GoFundMe page which has raised £1,700 - just £300 shy of her £2000 target. It can be donated to via https://bit.ly/3PsC74B.
Emma has raised more than her GoFundMe page, through proceeds from the quiz night.
And at her final event, a quiz at Carmel Village Hall this Sunday afternoon - her final amount raised will be revealed with a big cheque.

It takes place at 12.30pm, and will include a raffle - with prizes including Chester Races tickets for two, panto tickets, open theatre tickets, afternoon tea and more.
Emma also won SHARE's Superstar award for 2023 in recognition for her fundraising efforts.
Her fundraising mission was inspired by a trip to London whereby she was shocked by the amount of homeless people on the streets.
Emma's mum, Faye, said: "I genuinely thought the experience in London would be forgotten on our return but it wasn’t and the desire to do something and empathy has grown and grown.
"The events are all her doing and her idea. We are so proud of her and her determination to make it happen."
