FLINT Town Hall is hosting a 'Money Matters' event in collaboration with Citizens Advice Flintshire.

It will take place on Thursday, July 20, from 10am until 12pm offering attendees the chance to interact with Citizens Advice professionals over a hot drink.

Around 1 million UK pensioners are claiming Pension Credit, according to estimates, resulting in about £1.7 billion payments remaining unclaimed.

Schools Essentials Grant is another means of support being offered to parents and guardians in the Flintshire area, funded by Flintshire County Council and the Welsh Government, offering direct payments to ease the cost associated with children's education.

Councillor Ben Goldsborough, Mayor of Flint Town Council, said: “As Mayor, I’m proud to work alongside fantastic organisations, like Citizens Advice Flintshire, to host Money Matters events to link those living in our communities with support they are entitled to.” ‌‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌‍‌‌‌‌‌
