THE Britain's Got Talent Welsh choir is 'extremely excited' to be returning to their hometown stage later this year.

Johns' Boys Male Choir has announced that they will be holding a concert at the William Aston Hall in Wrexham on Saturday, September, 23 at 7pm.

Fans have been asked to save the date as tickets will be going on sale soon.

The announcement has generated much excitement from fans and residents in the Wrexham area.

Johns' Boys choir, from Rhos, made it to the top three in the semi-finals of the talent show, but missed their place in the final when the judges had to vote between them and 11-year-old singer Olivia Lynes.

Michelle Lewis on Facebook said: "I think you'll need more than one date!!" while Angela Jeppesen said: "Waiting for the United States tour to see you gentleman! Can't wait!"

Kerry Howells-Grove said: "I hope we can still manage to get tickets now that you're world-famous."

The choir was praised for their "immaculate" vocals in the semi-finals, with their performance being described as "perfection" by judge Bruno Tonioli. 

Aled Phillips, choir conductor and director of music at Oswestry School, said performing on BGT "was a wonderful experience and all the lads in the choir should be so proud of themselves."

Now the boys can do it all over again with the love and support of their hometown.
