POLICE officers have eased concerns over why one of the force's helicopters was spotted in Wrexham earlier this week.
Some residents has reported seeing the aircraft flying over the city via community groups on social media.
North Wales Police have since put out a statement, adding that it was 'nothing to be concerned about'.
It was, officers say, 'likely to be a training exercise' over a period of two days.
A statement from the NWP Wrexham Town team read: "Our eye in the sky was out over Wrexham today (June 1) and yesterday (May 31), as some of you may have noticed."

The statement added: "Nothing to be concerned about as we had no reported incidents or made requests for it, so likely to be a training exercise.
"I’ve sent them a message to confirm everything is A-OK and if it's anything different I’ll let you know."
