IN the second of a trio of galleries, more hopefuls put their best foot forward for a beauty title.
This delightful dozen were aiming for the win of the Pretty Polly Miss Lovely Legs contest, in 1980.
Initially visiting the Leader's Wrexham office, the top contestants then went to the final held at Deeside Leisure Centre, with eventual winner Lorraine Toyne, who had been a Miss Wales hopeful a few years previous in 1977.
