NEW food hygiene ratings have been awarded some of Wrexham’s establishments – and it’s good news for them all.
Nine places have received five-star food hygiene scores, the Food Standard's Agency website shows.
Five-star ratings have been given to the following restaurants, cafes or canteens:
- Heaven Coffee Shop at 30 Lord Street, Wrexham; rated on May 17
- The Flatulent Frog at Ty Pawb, Market Street, Wrexham; rated on May 17
- Yellow & Blue Hub at Eagles Meadow, Wrexham; rated on May 15
And one five-star rating has been handed to a pub, bar or nightclub:
- Rated 5: Wrexham Rugby Club at Bryn Estyn Road, Wrexham; rated on May 10

- Llay Kebab & Pizza at 3 Market Square, Fifth Avenue, Llay; rated on May 9
- King's Noodle Bar at Shop 57 King Street, Wrexham; rated on March 30
