WREXHAM'S co-chairmen have been labelled as the 'best owners in the world' by club captain Ben Tozer.

Tozer, who didn't miss a minute of action as the Reds secured a return to the Football League after 15 years, spoke to TalkSport yesterday.

Wrexham's skipper was discussing the well-documented trip to Las Vegas, a treat from Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney following the National League title win.

The players enjoyed VIP treatment at some of the most exclusive clubs and pool parties in the area and were treated like 'royalty' according to Tozer.

Rob and wife Kaitlin Olson joined the players in Vegas, with the pair playing the role of parents, and ensuring they were staying safe in the sun.

Tozer said: "Not me, she (Kaitlin) was nursing one of the other lads that was looking red, I think it was Tom O’Connor. She said, ‘come here Tom, let me rub some suncream into your back’, his smile said it all.

"The treatment we’ve had, it’s almost like royalty, it’s so surreal, the owners are just incredible.

"There have been talks already from the owners about a possible private jet next time."

Since Ryan and Rob took over the club in 2021 there has been a remarkable improvement in performances on the pitch and support off the pitch.

The football club and community are thriving, with the Hollywood pair at the heart of it all.

Tozer added: "The honesty and the personable bits they do around the town, honestly I believe we’ve got the best owners in the world, the way that they are, they honour everything they say. So far they’ve backed everything they’ve said up.

"Success on the pitch usually filters down from the owners."
