A WREXHAM businesswoman shares the secrets of her success in a new book.

Following a successful Kindle pre-release, Fearless Connection: Real Life Stories From Entrepreneurs That Made It Happen, is a collaboration between 10 different female entrepreneurs, sharing their tips for starting, growing and scaling a business, including Laura Clinton, from Rossett.

Laura is the founder of platform called Equicantis, an exercise prescription app for equine and canine physical therapists.

An equine musculoskeletal therapist herself, Laura has been running that business, Equiflexion, for the last 13 years. It was her first-hand frustrations surrounding formulating exercise plans for her clients that led her to create the subscription as a service (SaaS) platform, Equicantis, which launched in August 2021 and has subscribers in eight different countries so far.

In her chapter Laura shares her story of creating Equicantis alongside having a young family - the ups, the downs and her top tips.

The theme of the book is all centred on 'connection', since all 10 authors are connected by being members of the hugely successful Peakes Private Members Club, the brainchild of businesswoman Nicola Peake, from Shropshire.

Nicola launched Peakes Private Members Club at the end of 2021 as a place for real connection for entrepreneurs and business owners.

Ten Peakes members then got together to produce Fearless Connection. The idea was to provide practical advice and tips that could easily be used by anyone in business.

Laura said: "It's been wonderful to be a part of a project like writing a book alongside other female entrepreneurs, who I can also call my friends.

"We all hope we can give people some inspiration, but it's not just about that, it's packed full of tips and advice that women and men alike can put into practice to create their own success."
