WREXHAM'S co-owners have hinted that they will be involved in the clubs' open top bus parade around the town this evening.

Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney said they would be in the UK on Monday evening as they have 'Wrexham business'.

The Hollywood pair were being interviewed over the weekend at a Welcome to Wrexham promo event.

They were quizzed on their plans for Monday night, a date that clashes with the Met Gala.

The Always Sunny creator and Deadpool star clearly had better plans as they revealed they weren't attending the glamorous Hollywood event.

Ryan said: "We'll be in the UK, we have Wrexham business."

While Rob added: "Monday night we'll be on a plane."

It seems likely that the owners will be on board the open-top bus parade that is taking place this evening (May 2).

The event is taking place to celebrate the achievements of both the men's and the women's sides this season.

Phil Parkinson's side secured a historic return to the Football League in a record-breaking season, while the women's side secured promotion to the Genero Adran Premier after comfortably winning their Northern League title.

The streets of Wrexham are set to be packed to get a glimpse of both teams, with Rob and Ryan set to be involved.
