AN exciting up and coming contemporary artist from Flintshire is presenting her first exhibition of her new contemporary artwork.
The exhibition of work by Abby Browne, from Hawarden, will be at her new studio in the grounds of Ffrith Hall, in Wrexham.
After many years in active addiction and struggling to come to terms with her autism, Abby continues to use herself, the world around her and her artwork to inspire and bring pleasure to others.
On her first exhibition in her own studio, she said: "It's nerve-racking but lovely that it's where I paint, and people will be able to see what I'm working on.
"The main aim now is to push my art to the next level, and get my work and name out there."
The 43-year-old found the creative process helped her cope with recovering from issues with alcohol.
She added: "It helped me a great deal through addiction, gave me something to focus on."
