UFC legend Conor McGregor has hailed all that is happening at Wrexham as 'absolute magic' as his beer is set to come to town this week, raising funds for charity.

The Irishman was speaking as his very own 'Forged' Irish stout is set to be sold in Wrexham this week.

Ahead of Tuesday's match (April 18) v Yeovil Town at the Racecourse, the drink will be available to purchase from a mobile truck by the Turf pub's marquee.

All proceeds made will then be donated to the 'Your Space' autism charity which Wrexham striker Paul Mullin has just recently become a patron of.

And McGregor has urged fans to 'drop by and show love' if they're heading to the match.

The former UFC world champion also hailed Your Space as a 'great charity' and said that everything happening at Wrexham is 'absolute magic'.

Re-Tweeting a Tweet from Turf landlord Wayne Jones, McGregor said: "Taking my @ForgedStout tank in to the absolute magic that is happening at @Wrexham_AFC and in aid of helping a great charity “Your Space” that raises awareness and support for autism.

"Drop by and show love if you are in town. Try out the game changer."

The match v Yeovil will be another crucial one in Wrexham's bid for a return to the English Football League.
