Erica has an international following and has been translated into 13 languages, with the Norwegian edition of Summer at the Lake, ‘Alt i et Oyeblikk’, being a No.1 best-seller there.

The Berwyn Bookshop is an independent, family-run business that operates a physical shop including a vast selection of second-hand books, along with work from local authors, exclusive signed copies and current bestsellers.

Online, the business also sells specialist, rare and antique books via AbeBooks.

Emma and Adam Littler are the owners of Berwyn Bookshop and they regularly host author events, on site, and are always interested to know the kind of events, or the writers customers wish to see brought to North Wales.

The new owners came to takeover the former Berwyn Books following a devastating fire which occured November 16, 2021.

Around 400,000 books, worth roughly £1million, were lost in the fire - including including a book signed by Queen Victoria and a first edition of the Radio Times from 1923.

It was a devastating blow for the business with countless rare editions lost in the blaze.

The original owner decided to step away after the fire, while several of the employees wanted to carry on and rebuild.

Thanks to thousands of books being donated in the wake of the fire, and a generous offer to use a space in Caffi Isa - the book shop reopened in February 2022.
