WREXHAM AFC's 'super' Paul Mullin has taken his place alongside some of the best players in the world following his hat-trick against Oldham Athletic.

The star striker bagged his 43rd goal in the 5-1 rout of the Latics last weekend and his performance hasn't gone unnoticed.

'Super' Paul has been named in EA Sports FIFA's team of the week, appearing alongside the likes of Robert Lewandowski, Karim Benzema and Kevin De Bruyne.

The Reds have been in the video game for the past two seasons, following the takeover of Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney.

Mullin has received an 80-rated card, and was clearly pleased with it.

He posted on social media: "EA Sports Team of the Week!! Nephews buzzing, so big brownie points for me this week."

With six games left of the season, Wrexham fans will be hoping their star man can carry on his prolific scoring record.

The Reds are closing in on the National League title, which would see their 15-year stay in the division come to an end.

Next up for Phil Parkinson's men is a trip to Halifax Town on Friday, where they will be backed by over 4,500 Wrexham fans.

Then it is the big one against Notts County.
