A POPULAR pub in Wrexham will reopen its doors, four months after closing them.

The Cross Foxes, Erbistock is reopening under new stewardship next month, after closing in January.

The pub, which was run by Brunning and Price for over 25 years, shut its doors after Marstons decided not to renew the lease on the pub.

The pub chain took the pub back and it is now set to open on April 8 at 3pm under the stewardship of three brothers.

Sean, Matt, and Robbie Martin from Tattenhall, Chester have taken on the Foxes and are looking forward to welcoming customers back.

They posted on Facebook: "Welcome to the new Cross Foxes, Erbistock!! Launching Easter Saturday April 8th, doors opening at 3pm.

"Introducing *The Martin Brothers*

"Sean, Matt and Robbie are extremely excited to welcome you all to our newly refurbished pub. Our phone lines will be open from Monday, April 3rd to take reservations.

"We are three brothers from the small village of Tattenhall, near Chester who all started our journey in the hospitality industry at a young age when we joined the team at the Bickerton Poacher, Bulkeley.

"We all worked our way through the ranks, with Sean becoming head chef, Robbie as sous chef and Matt spreading his wings to maximise his knowledge and experience at the Ship Inn, Handbridge."

Marston's and the Cross Foxes were approached for a comment.
