WREXHAM AFC co-chairman Ryan Reynolds says he "can't wait" to see the women's side in action at the Racecourse Ground.

Title-winning Wrexham AFC Women play their final game of the season on March 26, against Connah's Quay Nomads, and will be doing so in front of a record-breaking crowd at the Racecourse.

Steven Dale's side have won 11 out of 11 games so far this season and wrapped up the title with an 11-1 win over Rhyl 1879.

Following the league win, the focus turned to breaking the attendance record at the Racecourse on the final day.

The current record stands at 5,175, which has already been smashed by Wrexham fans, with over a week to go until the game.

The club confirmed that ticket sales, which are still available for £1, had surpassed the required number set by Cardiff City.

The attendance will not only be the highest for a domestic women’s game in Wales, it will also be the highest crowd ever for an FAW-managed league game in the country – men or women.

One of those in the record-breaking crowd could be Deadpool star Ryan, who said: "Sunday, March 26th. Let’s fill The Racecourse Ground and celebrate @WrexhamAFCWomen on their historic run. I can’t wait to see them in full flight."

Will Ryan be in attendance to cheer on the women's side as they aim to end the unbeaten season in style?
