The 24-year-old bagged 24 goals last season and was a key component in Wrexham AFC's promotion challenge.
After Davies came on for the final 10 minutes of the Reds' win on Tuesday, Wrexham AFC's star co-owner Ryan Reynolds sent him a message on social media.
He tweeted: "Great seeing you out there JD! #WxmAFC".
