A Flintshire artist has created impressive bar boards featuring the Wrexham AFC co-owners, which are on display at the Turf pub.

Zoe Ellis Moore, from Mold, is primarily a carer for her autistic son and balances her art career around his needs.

She has held several exhibitions across North Wales as well as being featured in the North Wales open exhibition.

The inspiration to create the bar boards came after discovering on ebay that there was a demand for bespoke unique paintings of this type.

As an avid fan of the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary she chose the Hollywood co-owners Rob McElhenney and Ryan Reynolds as her first subjects.

Zoe added: "As a creative, when you get an idea it just eats away at you until you start it."

She completed the two impressive hand paintings within one week.

The artist then called Wayne Jones, landlord at the Turf in Wrexham, who was thrilled to take the boards.

Zoe has since seen her bar boards featured in interviews with the stars on TV and is hopeful that more of her artwork will feature in the upcoming second installment of the documentary.

Zoe added: "I am still trying to get my head around it."

Although Zoe currently lives in Mold she is originally from Wrexham and believes that Rob and Ryan have made a real impact on the town.

"I think what they have done for Wrexham is brilliant," she added.
