THE latest figures for house prices in both Flintshire and Wrexham have been released.
House prices increased slightly, by 0.1%, in Flintshire in November 2022, the latest figures show.
The rise contributes to the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area grow by 11.3% over the last year.
The average Flintshire house price in November was £220,059, Land Registry figures show – a 0.1% increase on October.
Over the month, the picture was different to that across Wales, where prices decreased 1.6%, and Flintshire was above the 0.3% drop for the UK as a whole.

Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Flintshire rose by £22,000 – putting the area 14th among Wales’s 22 local authorities with price data for annual growth.
Meanwhile, house prices dropped by 2.2% in Wrexham.
But the drop does not reverse the longer-term trend, which has seen property prices in the area grow by 9% over the last year.
The average Wrexham house price in November was £208,481, Land Registry figures show – a 2.2% decrease on October.
Over the last year, the average sale price of property in Wrexham rose by £17,000 – putting the area 21st among Wales’s 22 local authorities with price data for annual growth.
The average UK house price edged down to £295,000 in November 2022, from the previous month's record high of £296,000.
Property prices increased by 10.3% in the year to November, slowing from 12.4% in October.
Nathan Emerson, CEO of Propertymark, which represents estate agents, said: "In November, our agents reported a market that was on the cusp of seeing purchasing power handed back to buyers which was a trend we hadn’t seen in months."
First steps on the property ladder
First-time buyers in Flintshire spent an average of £185,000 on their property – £19,000 more than a year ago, and £44,000 more than in November 2017.
First-time buyers in Wrexham spent an average of £181,000 on their property – £15,000 more than a year ago, and £48,000 more than in November 2017.
Buyers paid roughly the same as the average price in Wales (£220,000) in November for a property in Flintshire.
And buyers paid 5.4% less than the average price in Wales for a property in Wrexham.
