A NATIONAL speed limit road near Wrexham is to have its speed cut.
New speed limits are to be implemented on the B5130 Aldford Road on the section between Aldford village and Huntington.
Cheshire West and Chester Council has introduced the traffic regulation order for the narrow, winding road.

Taking effect from Friday, January 13, the new speed limit zones are as follows:
A new 40mph limit (previously national speed limit, ie up to 60mph) will be introduced on the road 140 metres south of the roundabout with Chester Road/Sandy Lane, for 515 metres in a southerly direction. The 140 metres of road up to the roundabout will remain a 30mph zone.
Between 655 metres south of the Chester Road/Sandy Lane roundabout and 190 metres north of the junction with The Hill/Chapel Lane, the road will be set as a 50mph zone. The 190 metres of road down to The Hill/Chapel Lane will remain a 40mph zone.
