A NEW bus service from Flintshire to Chester is launching later this month.
The new T8B service, run by Denbigh-based M & H Coaches, will run between Ruthin and Chester on Mondays to Fridays (excluding Bank Holidays).
It will encompass Gwernymynydd, Mold, Penymynydd, Broughton, Bretton and Saltney and will come in to service on January 23.
The first bus will run from Ruthin at 7.43am and the last from Chester bus interchange will depart at 6.19pm (it will stop at all city centre stops).

Penyffordd and Penymynydd have been without a direct bus service to Chester since 2019 after Arriva withdrew its Number 13 service. Residents were said to have been left "dismayed" by the loss of the "lifeline" service.

Penyffordd and Penymynydd councillor, Alasdair Ibbotson, said: "I am delighted that our village will once again have a direct service to Chester, and one that enables people to get to work on public transport. For a village of our size to be cut off from the nearest big town was never a good idea.
"This service will also extend into Denbighshire, opening up new destinations for Penymynydd, Dobshill and Penyffordd residents. I will continue to call for service improvements in our community, including pressing for a route that ensures people at the Penyffordd end of the village are able to access the bus.
"It's a long walk to St John's for many residents and I have written requesting an extended route through our village when the timetable is next reviewed."
