WREXHAM AFC's incredible fanbase has once again displayed its unrivalled support ahead of an away match that is four months away.

Attendances at both home and away matches have been nothing short of sensational this season in particular with the Reds once again chasing promotion to the English Football League.

The 5-0 win over Solihull Moors on Boxing Day pulled in a crowd of 10,150 supporters - the highest of the season so far at the Racecourse.

And that brilliant support for Wrexham looks set to continue on into the new year with tickets for one away match in particular already being snapped up.

The match at Barnet's Hive London Stadium doesn't take place until Saturday, April 15.

And yet, if you visit Barnet's ticket purchasing page on their website, you can see that Wrexham fans have already bought 1,381 tickets (correct at time of writing) of the expected 1,600 tickets on offer to away fans.

That has reportedly seen the North London club open up a fourth block for away supporters with interest in the tickets being so high.

Support for the club has been boosted further by the 'Welcome to Wrexham' documentary which aired on Disney Plus earlier this year.

This, along with the takeover by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElehenney, has earned global recognition for the club and, in turn, often made tickets difficult to come by for non-season ticket holders.

The match at Barnet will be Wrexham's antepenultimate game of the season and could well prove to be a huge clash in the quest for promotion.

Phil Parkinson's side currently sit second in the National League table, four points behind league-leaders Notts County, with a game in hand.
