A Christmas carol service in Brymbo has been cancelled due to forecast of below freezing temperatures.
The Community Christmas Carols was set to take place on Offa Street, Brymbo from 7pm this evening, Wednesday December 14.
The event has been cancelled due to predicted temperatures of -4'C from 7pm until 10pm this evening, with the predicted feels like temperature falling to -8'C.

Councillor Paul Rogers, for the Brymbo Ward, reported via social media : "Due to temperatures forecast to remain below freezing tonight the decision has been taken not to go ahead with this evening's Christmas Carols at Offa Street in Brymbo"
"It is hoped there will be a good turnout for the carol service at St Mary’s Church next Tuesday at 6pm."
